Who we are

Proova runs this website. For any question about your data, write to hello@proova.dev.

What we collect

• Your request. When you request access: your work email, your company size, the roles you want to hire, any role you type in, and the time of the request.
• How you use the page. With your consent where the law requires it, Google Analytics records the pages and sections you view, the buttons you click, how you reached the site (for example a search engine or a campaign link), and your device, browser and approximate location. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_M5TBKT2Z1E to recognise a returning browser. We never send your email or anything you type into the form to Google.
• Technical data. Our host receives your IP address and browser details with each request, to deliver the page and keep it secure.
• Your settings. Your browser keeps your theme (light or dark) and your cookie choice in its local storage. They stay on your device.

How we use it

• To answer your request and invite you to Proova.
• To learn which parts of the page help visitors, and improve it.
• To keep the website secure and working.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal bases

For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland:

• Your request: the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
• Analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Technical data: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

Cookies and your choice

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets cookies only after you accept them in our banner. Elsewhere it may set them by default, and you can decline. If you decline, we delete the Google Analytics cookies. Google can still receive basic signals without cookies, such as a page load, to estimate traffic.

To change your choice at any time, open the cookie settings.

Who processes your data

These providers process data for us, under their data processing terms:

• Vercel (United States) hosts this website and runs the request form.
• Supabase (United States) stores the access requests in our database (AWS us-west-1).
• Google Analytics (United States and other countries) measures how visitors use the page, as described above.
• Zoho Mail (United States) receives the email you send to hello@proova.dev.
• Resend (United States) sends the emails of the Proova product.

Where your data goes

Our providers store and process data in the United States. When data leaves the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on the safeguards in their data processing terms, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

• Your request: until you ask us to delete it, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you.
• Google Analytics data: up to 14 months.
• Technical logs: a short time, as our host sets.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Write to hello@proova.dev. We answer within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top.
